Hurricane Roof Repair
Liquid Rubber DaclarTM was chosen to waterproof
the Polyurethane foam (PUF); which was sprayed on top of the steel
roof. The previous roof had been torn
off by Hurricane Michelle in 2001.
The Liquid Rubber DaclarTM was sprayed over the entire 250,000 ft2 of PUF as a waterproofing and UV protection.
The client was extremely pleased after the entire 250,000 ft2 of Liquid Rubber DaclarTM survived Hurricane Ivan in 2004. To the clients dismay the 200,000 ft2 which had not been done in 2001 with Liquid Rubber was completely torn off by Ivan.
In 2005 the client contacted the remaining 200,000ft2 of roof to be done with the PUF and Liquid Rubber DaclarTM system.
